THE TASTE OF WARMTHIt has been long since i left my post as a teacher in Oxley (which has turned into a tuition centre as well). i miss my days there and although work are tough and stress back then but the kids are mostly where i got all the motivations from.
Since the day i left after i resign, i missed them SO much and i even teared a lil` on `precious car when he came and fetch me home on the last day. i still remembered some of the kids even stayed on late just to accompany me and had their eyes watered when their parents came and when they have to wave goodbye. It simply just breaks my heart and at that very moment, i was wondering if i had made the wrong decision to resign and if i should forget about resigning and stayed on cause i know i defintely will very much miss this bunch of brats. But still, decision was finalised.
The next time i went back was the closing of Oxley (cause they are shifting & venturing into new prospect), all the were there, things didn't change, kids still welcome past teachers back with opens hands. i was so happy to be able to see them again and i seriously feel like hugging ALL of them.
(these are only part of my gems.)
might be wondering why i bring this old grandmother story up.
cause i've been receiving instant messges on Facebook from my gems (they actually log on to FB frequently as well), telling me how they fare from their tests and exams. Even though i might be a ex-teacher, they still regard me as a teacher and took the initative to let me know.
and lately, there's one that really touched me.
it was a message from Sean.
When i 1st met Sean (Pri 6.) on my 1st day, he was REALLY a very grumpy boy. My boss actually warned me on how grumpy, attitude and naughty, he can get nasty with teachers and on general, he hates teachers la (that's what she says). i was quite shocked by this but still, what to do, i may not be his direct teacher teaching him but i still have to come in contact with him. Intially, yes, he treated me very coldly but somehow after a few days, his attitude towards me changed. he bcame obedient when i asked him to complete certain tasks, though at time he will still show a lil` attitude but it was so much better than him showing attitude towards other teachers. Gradually, i was the one in charge of his supervision and he changed to a more loving and obedient boy. i was very impressed by his attitude though his academic results doesnt really had a big jump, but his overall well-being had improved drastically.
he's just a small kid afterall, throwing tantrums, looking forward to praises and rewards.
At times when i got really disappointed in him, i'll ignore and refuse to talk to him and he will come with an innocent face and apologise.
He's just this very special boy that i'll always remember and becos of him, i got a very big satisfaction as a teacher (of course including other very loving students as well).

IM BORED.LAZY AND MORE!im sooooo fed up now!
tons and tons of un-finished craps!
my weekend was alright, Sat went out with `precious for dinner (=
super vain `precious wore his new tee out.
guess what, `precious was in a very pretty mood that day.!
we had Imperial @ Marina Square and homed aftermath.
boring right, aiya, old couples are like that.
whatever/where-ever is done is already done, nothing's new.
Went out with Matt & Anna the next day.
Met up with Anna 1st as Matt was training for his IPPT that day.
shopped at Bugis Village and i bought myself a pair of heels and shades! (which i think i've already got enough of both, but who cares!).
`precious bought himself pair of shades as well and my Anna dear bought a pair of wedges and can't wait but put it on immediately! ha!
went back to Bugis aftermath and started on our L4D while waiting for Matt.
we've booked tickets for movie "2012" @ Cineleisure.
wanted to go there and purchase our fancy glasses for the upcoming Christmas Party as well but they were out of stocks! damn popular those glasses. im so excited about the party anyway, though it's a pre-christmas party but at least all are able to turn up on that day. (= (sounds alil dumb though, celebrating christmas before everyone else celebrates. ha!)
anyway!
the movie was super damn long! 159mins!
it's nice la, just that some of the scenes are a lil` exaggerating. haha.
but in this movie, there's no feeling of crying but more of like excited, anxious and breath-taking!
it was also like a comedy as well, like the characters will say something which is hilarious now and then in situations of running for lives and saving themselves.
But actually why this is happening is because the earth actually shifted it's position, tts why it's causing all this. The government actually knew it LONG ago and had already built a submarine to keep mankind (to be exact, those aft experiment to know that they have good gens and are worth saving, but still they have to purchase a ticket! siao!).
imagine, our governement already knew this and we are not even entitled to buy the tickets?
tickets not cheap you know! a few hundred k for one.

i actually went online to search for this Mayans who are the ones who predict that 2012 is the end of the world and they call it the "Doomsday" and the exact date is 21 Dec 2012.

so decided to bring her out for a day with `precious.
set on going to Suntec, to buy `precious niece birthday present as well.
Once `precious reach, it was already about dinner time.
so bought Charmaine for dinner @ Ichiban Sushi.
Charmaine, super enjoying her food with her mouth full!

Shopped around after dinner and bought her my all time favorite Yami Yogurt!

from day 1 charmaine meets `precious, they got along so well and tt's one thing that i was really glad about. They enjoys each other's company and they love to play around together (=
After rounds and rounds of searching (some no size la, some no color la, some display last piece la, so poor thing, close down la! frustrating!! -_-), finally bought this pink, white polka dots cute dress for her niece, the dress is really sweet and it cost $33.90. cheap? i think it's a lil` on the high end for kids apparels.
Bought a few items for Charmine and left Suntec.

whenever we went in throught Woodlands, we would love to have this Yong Tau Foo right beside the petrol kiosk where `precious pumps his petrol.

their special noodles are damn nice and you can add in ingredients like abalone, scallops and more! it's not expensive though! one bowl at most RM15 with abalone? how much will be be if you were to get it in Spore?!
Went down to Jusco after `precious feed his car and gave his car a good wash!
he bought his things and we started to wonder around.....
After going Malaysia for so many times, im getting alil` bored with there, always going to the same place and doing the same things.. zzz
Left after `precious finish purchasing his stuff to City Square.
We booked 4.30pm for massage though we need to get back in the evening for his niece's birthday! haha.
i seriously has a bad habit.
i would be damn angry if i din purchase ANYTHING when im outside in the mall.
tt's what happen when i was there! i have literally NOTHING to buy and i started getting angry.
Poor `precious trying to pacify me by asking if i want this and that. & one thing i realise, Malaysia DOES NOT HAVE nice shoes, heels, flats and ALLLLL! damn!

Went over for "Body Worlds" exhibition.
$20 admission.
you might think it isn't worth the price for looking at some dead corpse who are looking back at you. But once you visit the exhibition, you'll know how does the price arise to $20.
No pictures are allowed to be taken in the exhibition.
The moment you went into the entrance, they will snap a picture for you first and you may choose to purchase it at the exit when you finishes the exhibition.
Before going in, i was so afraid that the exhibition hall might smell like hospital, but no, not at all.
From babies, like how they are developed, how they grow.
To adults, how each and every systems look like. ya, if you're about to ask, "is there penis? balls? boobs?" yah, there is! and ALL the exhibits are REAL human.
the scientist are damn awesome, they manage to separate muscles, from skeleton and muscle from veins and veins from nerves! like how awesome is that!!!
THAT is where the bucks are worth.
they even show the form that the people who are interested in donating their bodies for this purpose!
There are seriously too many things to talk about the exhibition, so, just go and take a walk.

WEEKEND IS LOVE (=weeks after the previous post again.
getting more and more lazy to log on to blogger and start my fingers tapping but once i start, i will finish it up. (=
my weekends are getting more and more busy with who and hanging out with anna dear and and his bf Matt. we had fun together always! Be it doing the same things like L4D, which Matt LOVES it to the core, we still had fun (= Alrighty, shall talk about it later..
after work on Friday night, went over to Marina Square for dinner with `precious.
bought a ring and a pair of earrings both Ribbon from "Elitrend".
i've been rather addicted to things of Ribbon shaped lately and in Elitrend, they sell lots of them!
From hairbands to studs to ring to handbags to belt and many more!
i've already bought a few items from them previous and bought 2 more items the moment i stepped into it again.. ha!
ribbons make me feel girly but i LOVE! heeeeee..
and once i got home, i found that my beloved stud got lost, one side!

Next morning, meeting as usual on Sat.
but this time round, damn TL, or some say DL, shall not explain why further cos maybe it will take me a whole day to rant out everything.

`precious was late, again as usual, and Matt had to fetch me along with them first.
it was raining damn heavily and the roads were mega jam. It took us like around 1hr+ to reach Bugis when the usual ride was like 30mins?
i got so uneasy in the car maybe due to the traffic jam, cause i have motion sickness and i had to endure that damn jam, and also maybe im not used to sitting in Matt's car?
i duno, im so used to having big space to cross my legs, stretch out my legs and do whatever i want, so riding in other people's car felt so retrained.
[so, im quite lucky that `precious ain't mad at me stretching my legs right to the front, putting my big Eeeyore in his car, cos i guess most guys hates it! loves him to the max! =)]
i guess it's more of like selective, my motion sickness reacts to different people. Some, i'll never get it, like `precious car for example, others like cabs, im more prone to it.
But anyway, i hate myself for having motion sickness, make me feel sick, damn.
still, the 3 of us reached earlier than `precious. -.-
i guess he's like more or less a well-known MORRR king already (if you get what i meant)
we shopped around 1st and planned what to do later while waiting for `precious and got ourselves settled down at
SHOKUDO JAPANESE COFFEE HOUSE
It's located at Level 1 in Bugis, on the stretch of Starhub outlets.
i've yahooed about this resturant online and SHOKUDO JAPANESE COFFEE HOUSE has another one in Cineleisure and this have this another name called SHOKUDO JAPANESE FOOD BAZAAR @ Marina Square & Heerens. Though it's from the same SHOKUDO, but they are selling it in a totally different style. This one that we are going are more of a casual dining but SHOKUDO JAPANESE FOOD BAZAAR is more of like a buffet.

It was actually Anna's and Matt's idea to catch the movie @ Balestier.
in my opinon, balestier is not as clean as else where but once i was there, the theatre was pretty fine. Best thing is not much people.
The show starts @ 12am and we bought our tickets @ 12am.

and the moment we sat down, we still-ed.

the movie is super gross though short, only 1hr 30mins.

CONFIRM there's a SAW7 coming up cos the murder is not dead yet!
wondering when SAW will offically end?! till SAW8, SAW9, SAW10?? cos it's not as thrilling as the 1st already thought SAW1 was only NC16 but the twist to the movie was fantasic!
The movie serious turns my stomach upside down.
rate: 3.5/5 (there's nothing more to look forward to other than the gores, twist in the movie will be really good)

it was like around 2am? and im feeling damn drowsy. PLUS, Halloween on, people coming in looking like dead Japanese soldiers, freaky nurses being k-ed on the head 10k times, totally freaked me out. lol` But their make-up was ups.! ha!
went home aftermath and it was like 3.30am?
daddy was still in the living room when i stepped in! felt damn bad.
Daddy has been doing this since i grow up and came home late.
He would sit in the living room till im back no matter how late is it, he might be seem as watching tv or fliping through papers, but once i finished bathing, he will head to bed. Mommy told me he doesnt feel safe, he feels uneasy when im not home yet, till now, he's still as so... (:
Sunday, a good day to stay at home.
but `precious ain't the kind of stayhomeboy.
so he suggested we go IMM as he wanted to get his hair cut.
But before we went over, we got stuck in COTTON ON. lol`
i bought a shirt for `precious as well. (=
After shopping, went to Jean Yip and `precious got his haircut+wash @ $24.90 and since i got nthing to do, wash my hair lor. $20! lol` i tot it was cheap but `swe3t told me it was like expensive la. haha come to think of it, yah, it's indeed a lil` expensive! lol`
After haircut, we had our favorite dumplings and drinks right at the highest level carpark where `precious got his car parked.
his new hair, like no difference -.-
and mine, i love it, looked damn smooth and dyed! (din dare to try dyeing it!)

look @ the beautiful scenery, din know it can be so pretty.
i love this kind of scenry! super relaxing and soothing..

SUDDEN THOUGHTS
Many many different thoughts are running through my mind now.
family, friends, relationships, work.
These are all the things that will somehow bother you throughout your own lifetime, and somehow, it's more like a growing up process and i hate it. It makes me feel down, disappointed, lost, stressed up and temperamental!
Family disappoint me.
Making me feel tat family no longer is as important as how i used to think in the past. we used to be gathering very weekend, having fun and laughing over dining table. but now, no more gatherings, no more laughters, just more and more tricks coming up. i seriously hate what i'm looking at now, the whole fucking family is so fucking dispersed! Where are the usual warmth that i feel? Where are the usual laughters that i hear? It's all GONE! Vanish! If i were to really write down EVERY SINGLE thing that i'm unhappy with, i guess, i'll have to use up a week of my time to finish up. but still, i'll still need to finish my piece. PLEASE, you know who you are, just because of your OWN financial problem, doesn't mean you'll have to drag those that love you. Though they might not know what are the tricks you're up to but WE defintely know. But let me tell you, since you're the one who suggested for them to live the rest of their life with you, better dont make them suffer, if not you BOTH will be the one suffering. i share see how good are you at covering up all your evil doings!You BOTH are the ones who ruin EVERYTHING!
i still love all except you know who. i wont allow you to do anything nasty!
Friends drifting
Friends are drifting cause of busy work schedules but still there are some dear ones always by my side (=
i used to have lots of them all around me, chatting on the phone almost everyday. But ever since i've started stepping into the society, leaving school days behind, friends drifted. It's kinda sad to think back in the beginning but now, it doesnt matter. Like people always say, it's better to have a bunch of close ones with you than having those hi-bye friends. i'm really happy to be having the few dear ones to me. they are the ones who seriously will stay beside me in times of happy & sad. They share my joy and sadness. i love them dearly (=

Work is fucked up
Things cant be finished on time, new times comes in again, things started to accumulate. A little understanding would defintely help, but too bad, no such things. The society is harsh, Can do it? go ahead. Cannot?! get lost! In this realistic world, if you cant do it, people are queuing right behind you to fill up yr space immediately. It has how scary people are trying hard just to acheive what they want. It's so scary regarding how they use others as a stepping stone to up higher.

Please people, of you're thinking of going Cathat Cineleisure for L4D, knock yourself out NOW! Let me tell you why, it's freaking expensive and the maps are full of bugs and SOOOO NOT updated, not only so, the service of the crew sucks!

Freaking disgusting and scary though it's not some horror movie, but this actually freaks me out.
if you're a please-freak-me-out and oh-i-love-gore fans, this is the movie for you.
but guess it's better to watch it on weekdays cos it's worth more $7.50 than $10.
i bought in cup corn, fried chicken, pancakes but i only manage to half my cup corn. too disgusting for me to eat at that moment and i was hiding in `precious arms all the while.
i give it a 3/5 but i think `precious will rate it 5/5 though. ha!

MALAYSIA TRIP x2 + FISH & CO. + MOMMY'S BDAYi almost forget how to blog since the last post a few weeks ago.
the more i don't blog, the more im lazy to.
have been going into Malaysia more often now and have decided to explore deeper into JB to look for good and cheap food! (=
so went on a Friday night after work with `precious brother & family.
went in thru Tuas 2nd link and it's so damn expensive.
No wonder no jam and it's much faster, you have to pay when you're at both spore and malaysia custom, not only tt, back and fro! so it's ($4.60+RM10.80) x2! LOL
anyway, it's the 1st time tt `precious is going in at night and the 1st time tt he's exploring into deeper places in JB. so, he was very careful with his driving and he was being a nice driver tt day, tailing behind his brother's back..

Suggested to daddy tt we shld bring mommy to e` seafood resturant which `precious and i went tt Friday & daddy tot so too..

After food, we walk back to our car across the bridge and we saw a little girl with a milk bottle in her mouth stretching out her hand begging for money.
it's a seriously sad way a child have to live.
but being so young, she already know how to do this action, i bet someone might have taught her this. was actually planning to give her a few bucks but `precious stopped us as he knows the rest of the kids will come forward as well.
look at just how small she is.
kids here should really feel fortunate that they are clean and healthy with loving parents to provide them w`food and shelther.

There was this Sat where i went to watch the show, "Haeunda, the deadly tsunami".
it was a terribly sad movie.
i cried since the start of all the tragic.
the movie indeed fished out the sad nerves in me and triggered me to flooding the theatre.

Imagine looking at the tsunami that's coming your way helpless?
Imagine watching your love ones being swept away by the tsunami?
all these just kept me crying on and on.
the females in the theatre was just like me, fishing for tissue in the dark to wipe away all the tears that were rolling down.
i seriously dont know what i were to do if a Tsunami hits S'pore.
i thought of what to bring when Tsunami hits.
My Gucci bag with all the needed equipment inside.
my handphone (with all the contacts in it, and to call home from "below" if i were to die, eee freaky!) , makeup kit (to touch up my make up if i know i were to die, die also have to die pretty!), my planner ( i dont know what i need this for though), my home keys (just in case i get to escape and can return home), my wallet (with I/C and money in it) and my story book (to prevent myself from gettin bored "below").
