TAIPEI HERE I COME! (DAY 1 & DAY 2)

Taipei Here I Come! (Day 1 & Day 2)

Yes yes, finally im posting up my Taipei trip!

I'm definately missing every single bit of it now and i cant wait to go back there again!

Was suppose to go on a bkk trip in Oct, instead impromptu-ly we forward it in Aug to a Taipei trip instead!

Furthermore, we tried our luck asking bee along as well, and she actually agreed to it!

Damn impromptu can?!

it's only like 4 days 3 nights? yes, yes very short, regret not staying longer ):

Got our tickets booked and hotel booked rather late.

For the time being before we headed for our trip, we always tried to meet up to plan for our trip for a fruitful itenary but as always, FAILED.

But aiya, nvm la, who cares, just luan zong lor! LOL!

We made our own ways to the airport that day.

Had lunch with swt while waiting for checking in and also for bee..

must camwhore!

check in time!

MMS this photo to mommy and bidded goodbye.

on board tiger!

It was a 5+ hrs flight. si bei gu!

so what to do? camwhore of cos!

swt!

the mommy!

of cos we did alot of chatting as well and had some snacks on the plane.

but i guess it was becos the seats were a little to small thats why i had a hard time sitting comfortably

typing this, i reminded myself eating a shitakae mushroom wrap and till now i feel like vomitting =s

it's not that it tasted horrible but just damn jelat!

i guess i have some photography skills as well. ai seh!

more camwhore..

first-3-of-us trip!

hoping more to come! (:

it was 4231645 times that bee visited Taiwan but it was the first for me and swt.

i've always wanted to visit there cos i always watch Taiwan variety shows and they always feature places that seemed so interesting!

soon, it was turning dark..

BEAUTIFUL! lol.

we touch down at around 9+pm

no pictures after touch down, busy looking for our luaggage and cabs to our hotel.

Oh ya, we booked Riverview Hotel..

*jump*

Hotel Lift. lol!

we left our bags in the room and immediately headed out!

cant wait!

Our hotel was around a 10mins walk to 西门町!

bcos of the time constriant, we settled to shop there.

西门町 was more like our bugis village, but the only difference is the street stalls and impromptu officer checks.. lol!

dinner time and we're still w an empty tummy.

so..

q-ing for?

the oh-so-famous-Legendary 阿宗面线!

both enjoy from the bowl of meesua!

Look at the amount of ppl!

machiam no need to sleep and there are lots of push carts selling food!

oh, i love this!

peng kang quail eggs!!

nom nom nom!

look at this!

our cut fruits are sold in fridges, but theirs are on carts with loads of ice!

and the way the aunty cut the fruits shocked us!

hard to describe but really never before seen. hahaha!

im a lover of corn.

thought is was nice, but turn out..... eww.

Some building shots. lol

anyway, this is our triple bed room.

the aircon in the room is lagi shiok but the bathroom, er.. dont mention better.

SUNSHINE!

woke up one by one and started preparing to head out.

busy with?

eyebrow drawing for bee!

her brows are way too thin so we HAD to draw for her! haha!

she seem super helpless.

For that few days, our main transport was their cab.

other than the very first trip from airport to hotel which cost was TWD1000+ ($50), it was relatively reasonable.

we were heading for breakfast at Ding Tai Feng as many say it taste better there..

During the journey, the driver told us that from Ding Tai Feng, there are malls which are walkable distances from about 10-15 minutes.

so we decided that we should head to 新光三月 after breakfast

Verdict?

it taste the same? lol!

it costed almost the same as well. zz

After a hearty breakfast, we decided to head to 新光三月 as planned.

a dreamy and artsy pic i took of sweet..!

at this very moment, i guess we've already walked for almost a good 30mins and we've yet to see 新光三月!

what's with the 10-15mins walk?!

the buzzling traffic of humans and transports.

did i mention the people there cross road like they paved it??

totally not afraid of the heavy traffic!

tell me please, other than the bulgy tummy, does she look like a preggy?

By this time, i think we walked like 45mins already??

and we came across.....

Taipei 101

a clearer one..

Also their Guo Fu Ji Nian Guang

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO REACH?!

FINALLY, after like an hour,

we finally arrived.

i've never walked this much in my 23 years of life.

!#$%^&*#(()%$*(

新光三月 is like our Takashimaya with many label botiques.

Feeling the aircon, can only say, SI BEI SHIOK!

i first laid my eyes on Juicy!

Suprisingly, the Juicy there is like so much cheaper!

i bought a bracelet from there and also hair ties that we 3 decided to get (:

Heading Aldo!

i only got a pair of slipper for bf, dint get anything for myself.

we continued walking around and even headed into the Prada botique.

very cheap also lor! =x

Till around 12pm, we decided to head to the next location.

SEXCITED!

五分铺!!

This is a MUST GO!

Seriously, it's just another bugis street but a BIGGER AND LONGER AND CHEAPER one!!

the things there are fuck cheap!

no time for photos! LOL!

it's a place where most people get clothes to sell on blogshops!

Soon, it started to rain heavily, and yet we continued our shopping spree!

we got really tired after 5hrs of shopping? or even more??

we settled in a store? shop? for some food.

to realise we didnt even ate lunch!

hot soup for cold weather..

actually its a walkway where they squeeze out a space to put one pathetic table

the back of us has lots of bicycles like store room if you realise..

By the time we decide to end our shopping spree at 五分铺, we have big big bags in out hands and we nearly dislocated our shoulders.

We had to make our way back to the hotel before heading to the next famous location!

士林夜市!

After freshening up a bit, we headed out again.

and i didnt realise we ate really little.

too focused on shopping i guess, i settled most of the gifts just at 五分铺 itself!

士林 is really huge!

they sold anything and everything..

the most, food.

love this!

so thirst quenching!

lol, if it was really frog eggs, i would have vomitted!

the 卤味 that bee loves..

bee wanted to get Adidas stuff for his hubby so we chilled in the shop for like almost and hour plus?

During that hour, sweet got her eye caught on a pair of flats!

Continued shopping around and settle at a pushcart for some of the famous food that i always see on Taiwan variety show..

very very traditional carts which are common in Taiwan

四神汤 ; mee sua!

the soup was yummy for me but sweet and bee doesnt like it..

the worst is......................

肉圆

this is FUCKING disgusting!

looking at it i feel like vomitting..

At this moment im actually avoiding eye contact with this bowl of shit.

i wonder how they actually can compromise to the taste!

Some more foodie!

my favorite!

i tell you, the papaya milkshake is the best i had.

i guess ANY papaya milkshake will be better than in sg's, same goes to their bubble tea. Any chappalang brand also better and their KOI is totally no queues.

Not like ours here, machiam queuing for free gifts!

their dessert stall..

We went into this shop selling fried oyster egg..

we had the prawn on instead of the traditional oyster and it's really good.

i was alittle reluctant looking at the sauce on it as it looked similar to the one on the disgusting shit but turn out suprisingly nice.

the clear clam soup was also really good, super sweet!

But the service was a little like shit.

Cos we had lots of shopping bags and we had to occupy a few chairs for the bags and end up the shop's auntie keep staring at us for occupying the chairs and even said we should not do this cause other customers has no chairs to sit.

Whatever la.

We continued shopping and shopping non stop.

Wedges, clothings, havianas, etc...

random stall.

we stop for a drink at this "好了啦超大杯"

funny name..

the cup was really big but the picture doesnt do it justice.

At a shoe shop.

look at the amount of shoes!!

from slippers to wedges to heels to boots and many more!

who the fuck can resist?!

we were really drained out by i think 11pm+ and we headed back to the hotel and call it a day...

the loots just from a day!

many many clothes!

the hair ties we got for ourselves! (:

oh and the lady was really nice to give 2 more paper bags so that we can have one each cause the paper bag is just too pretty! haha!

damn cheapo! =x

i'll end day 1 & 2 with bee's and sweet's loots!

=0

HAHAHA, girls.
